According to TorontoFilm.Net, the CW's Toronto-lensed action TV series "Nikita", starring Maggie Q, has been renewed for a third season. "Nikita", from Warner Bros. Television, Wonderland Sound and Vision and Sesfonstein Productions, is based on the French-language feature "Nikita" (1990), the English-language remake "Point of No Return" (1993), and the previous, Toronto-lensed TV series "La Femme Nikita" (1997) :
"...The secret organization, 'Division' recruits young people with troubled backgrounds, erasing all evidence of their past lives while molding them into efficient spies. "But 'Nikita' has gone rogue, the first recruit to escape, promising to bring down her former employers.
